Vacationing in New Orleans ? Love To Fish? Want To Fish While In New Orleans ? Yesterday I had the pleasure of fishing Mrs. Karin and Mr. Isaac who were visiting New Orleans and wanted to catch some red fish. Our day started a lil slow but with some persistence we got into the fish and ended up with our limit of red fish, 20 speckle trout and 0ne drum fish. The Water is warming up and the cold fronts are ceasing. Here in New Orleans had temps upward in the 80’s this week -Summer is on it’s way to New Orleans and the fishing will be getting better everyday from here going. This week has been a good week of fishing despite the weather canceling my trips for Friday and Saturday . The last couple of days the water has cleared up and the winds have laid down. Fishing in New Orleans you never know what Ole Mother Nature is gonna bring ya . It looks to be settling into the summer pattern with fish showing up all over and the customers booking trips daily . We are catching red fish and speckle trout with a few drum and flounders being caught at times depending on how we are fishing that day . 7-17-2012 ANOTHER GOOD WEEK OF FISHING RED FISH IN NEW ORLEANS
This has been another good week of fishing here in New Orleans . I started the week off Friday and fished through Monday , four days of fishing and catching limits of red fish here in New Orleans .I wanna thank everybody who has come out to fish with New Orleans Style Fishing Charters .Thanks to Capt Roy for giving me a hand with Mr Heroyushi and his friend Sunday. The weather has been a lil steamy but most of the time we have been having a light breeze so it hasn’t been bad . Most of the red fish we have been catching have been on spoons in the grass beds . I did go throw shrimp under a cork yesterday since I had Mr John and his 3 young sons ,and we still caught good with the shrimp. Ok so this week has been a busy one .I hate going days without posting reports but it happens . The week has been full with limits of red fish from 16″-27″ caught on anything from spoons and spinner baits to market shrimp on the bottom . I fish to the weather and customers. 5-15-2012 CALIFORNIA BOY FISHING RED FISH IN NEW ORLEANS
Today I had the pleasure of fishing with Eric , Jake ,Larry and Sudeep from California who were in New Orleans to enjoy some good ,fun and fishing. With the tide on the switch around the bite was slow but we managed to get the six red they wanted to eat then fished catch and release. It was a steady day of fishing with red fish and then speckle trout . I had a blast with these guys . I haven’t been able to post any report due to being in the hospital . I had my appendix removed Friday after a great day of fishing with Mr Denise and Mrs Debbie. I got released last night . A very good friend of mine Capt Roy has been covering for me and has been doing well . Ill be back on the water soon and will have more reports on Capt Roy and my progress later in the week.

4-1-12 Weltch Family Fishing In New Orleans And Catching Reds.
Saturday I had the pleasure of fishing with the Welch Family from Mississippi . Mr Wendel wanted to take his family on a fishing trip to enjoy the day on the water ,and that’s just what we did. With fish biting at just about every spot we stopped .It wasn’t long before the first line screamer was on a good 8lb red but wasn’t top dog for long . We ended up landing 5 big reds with the biggest being 14lb . 21 fish all together with a mixed bag of fish that we kept had a lot of throw backs that were just undersized.
